Blind driver banned

Just heard on the news that a blind driver, who drove in a built up area at speeds of 35miles an hour - guided by his friend - had been given a suspended sentence and "banned from driving for three years" WHAT! He lost his eyes in an explosion. How are things going to improve in three years?

I wish some of the blind drivers up here would get their friends to guide them through the town, especially at the roundabout :roll:

Niall, it never ocurred to me that they were visually challenged. I was under the impression that they were mentally challenged!:lol:
