We had a pair of Blackbirds nesting nearby and both Male and Female used to fly to the fence when the car comes up the drive or when we went to the front door to accept titbits from us (not from the hand but close).
A cat came in the garden this morning and killed the female. So now the male has been singing all day from high vantage points. It's very sad, but he is still accepting titbits.
Is there anything that I can buy to deter cats from coming in the garden?
I am a real animal lover but if you asked me what I thought of cats today, I can assure you that my reply would be anything but benevolent.
