Teen to stand trial on alleged social network posts
A THURSO teenager has been accused of sending text messages of an abusive and threatening nature and posting similar messages on a social networking site.
Seventeen-year-old Rosemary Henderson denied the charges when she appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court, today.
The offences are alleged to occurred between April 1 and 16. Henderson, of St Peter’s Road, Thurso, was granted conditional bail by Sheriff Andrew Berry and will return to court for her trial on July 19.
