Hi there
I am very keen to get Raspberries growing this year.. am I too late? If not which variety do you recommend for our lovely windy wet weather (and I live in an exposed location)

If I can get them this year will they fruit?

Thanks very much

I bought some fruit bushes from Lidl last year. The blackberry bush gave me 6 berries, and is doing fine again this year. Black currants and redcurrants bore no fruit, but look promising this year. Raspberry and blueberry bushed didn't take at all. But my 50+ year old gooseberry bush gives me loans of fruit every year.

Had a look at my fruit bushes this afternoon. Redcurrants, planted May last year, now has a bumper crop of fruit forming! Can't wait to harvest!
