Quickest route from Wick to Scarfskerry please? I was thinking of going Wick to Lyth and Lyth to Mey, then Mey to Scarfskerry, well near there. Maybe I should stick to Wick to Castletwon, then Castletown to Dunnet, then Dunnet to Scarfskerry. Cant think which way is quicker, not sure of the mileage, and think it will take 30 minutes. advice please?

Either or. Probaly a shorter route going via Lyth then Mey
but these are single track roads which may take litle longer.
All main roads via Castletown.

Oh the joys of driving up there, thats the one thing I miss
from home. Used to live in Scarfskerry a number of years
ago. ;)

Thank you to you all for your help. I went to castletown, then Dunnet then Scarfskerry for 8am only to then be told I didn't have to be there ( a bit late as i was there!!). Came back the road to Barrock,Lyth,Wester,Wick same mileage but much quicker. It was a nice run!!
