Alexander Wares married Jane (or Janet) Bremner in Wick 24 Jan 1772. They had a daughter, Jane, born abt 1793 so I assume there werer other, older children but I have not been able to find records of them. A George Wares was the "cautioner" (great word for it!) at Jane's marriage to James Bruce in 1813 and I suspect he may have been her brother.
