I usually buy on-line, but need these urgently. Anywhere in Wick preferably, [or Thurso] that stocks Brother Cartridges for DCP 117C. [Tesco or Argos do not have the correct ones]
Thanks.

Just remember ink cartidges can be dear and i know this sounds stupid but sometimes your just as cheaper getting another printer when u look at the price difference of cartidges to a printer that comes with cartidges and if u have an old printer?

I have heard about buying printers as they are so cheap rather than buying a new cartridge but is not true that many manufacturers only partly fill the cartridge that comes with the new printer.

On another point does anyone refill their cartridges. I looked at one site www.tonertopup.co.uk/ (http://www.tonertopup.co.uk/) and it seems like a reasonable idea. Has anyone tried this out and are there any problems you have found. Toner/ink is very expensive so I am sure many folk would be interested to hear if it is ok to refill cartridges.

I have an Epson Printer for which I but Pro-Jet Ink Carts. These are great as is the quality and if I buy them off eBay I can but 18 Carts for £15.00, that is three complete set of inks.

When I start to get low I just buy another 3 sets and this way I never run out of ink and it does not cost me an arm and a leg either.

I had an All In One Lexmark printer. Colour catridges are around £28 and Tesco doesn't have compatible ones.

Decided to buy a new printer (and a separate scanner) and got lucky at a boot sale getting a Canon printer with a separate cartridge for each colour - that way you don't need to take out the whole cartridge when maybe only one colour is gone. You just don't get compatible ones for some printers up here.

The price looks good to me only £5.98 including P&P for 12 Carts.

I bought a refill kit couple of years back it was messy you had to inject the ink into the cartridge and didnt last long before needing filled up again im sure there is a sponge inside the cartridge that glogs up with paint maybey thats the reason you dont get the same amount of ink back in i think when ever you buy a printer one of the most important things to look for is the price of the cartridges before buying it you see some printer with 6 cartridges thats not for me i will stick till the 2 cartidges kodiak printer cartidges are supposed to be £10 a cartidge.
When it comes to buy ink or toner versis refill cartidges its the old saying u only get what you pay for i hate that saying but there is a lot of truth in it
