is there anyone up here that can poss fix ma ps3s yellow light of death ,ive had a go masel ,but to no avail

Nah. Just chuck it in the skip and go out and make use of the bonny weather!

One of my friends has fixed one with a similar problem before. Can't send you his contact number to you as your pm box is full.

oh dear we feel your pain. The same thing happened to ours, thankfully we got a brand new 1 as ours had just went out of warranty. I too posted on here but no-one had ever heard of this happening to PS3's. We got a new sent to us from SONY. The delivery guy told us that the amount of these getting replaced on a regular basis is unreal. If your ps3 is not old, write a letter and maybe you'll be lucky too like we were. Good luck
