laptop keeps blowing up chargers

My laptop, just out of guarantee, would not charge. got new charger which worked for a couple of months. Now it's gone again.

and did you buy a genuine charger?

many of the generic ones are sometime not the correct voltage or equal ot more mA or A rating.


explain what is happening please.

how old is the battery too?

have you changed that?

batteries typically only last 2-3 years at best, esp if the lappy is never used on the battery
when they fail they sometime cause the power supply to deliver more power to the battery than the pack is designed too.
