Have a look at eBay and that way you will get it delivered. Here is just one listing for a Battery :-

Have you tried charging the battery up on a trickle charge? failing that you have to get the details of the battery and order one from any garage if ure looking to get a battery second hand is that wise because the battery you buy might be on its way out as well
I take it you have diagnosed the fault as a faulty battery and not just dirty connections or faulty altenator?

Just go to the garage and get a new one, as eddie says a second hand battery is no worth getting.

You sure its the battery? - they are notorious for the ignition switch going on them m,aking them difficult to start if you turn the key does anything happen? if not chances are its the switch if it is you dont need a whole switch just teh electrical part on the end which costs £30 ish from Nissan also they are bad for battery terminals check the wiring in the terminal itself as it can break and be held just by its outer plastic cover - If not sure give us a shout and get your battery tested first before buying a new one Thurso Tyres will do this as well as Maconnachies - its a dischrge test you want or do it yourself by taking off the battery tops and get somone to turn over the engine and if a cell boils its U/S

Ideally the best way to check a battery out is when its fully charged?
All you can do is look at the terminals on the battery, check the earth connection from the battery to the body and battery earth to engine to see if there coroded and clean them up as nessary and depending if your startmotor is easy to get to check the terminals there if there ok just go to a garage like motorway tyres and they will tell you there and then if your altenator is charging if you get a reading from the battery when the engine is running if its over 13.5 volts its charging ok then it will probably be the battery that is faulty.
If u do buy a battery dont buy the cheap one because all what will happen is engine will turn over slower than normal when starting it and might take longer to start thats why u always buy the correct battery it does matter
Dont tell the guy on monday to change the battery because thats what he will do tell him ure problem and let him diagnose the fault because if u tell him to change the battery and its not that u have no come back.
What about going to viking motors they get a lot of praise on here?
The next time it plays up get someone to try and start it and give the startmotor a tap at the same time to see if the starter motor isnt lazy

We had a transit long wheel based van in 2009 and it was really bad for not starting. The battrey couldn't hold a charge for very long at all and to get it started my partner had to use jump leads attached to another vehicle or eventually got a power pack thing that had jump leads attached to it(Can't mind what they're called). We couldn't afford to replace the battrey at the time so we did this for a while untill we could. But by that time the van had more problems.
I hope your new battrey solves the problem.
