So there I am this morning, grumbling that a bit of asthma has set back my training for the Mey 10k, trying to convince myself that I just can't do it anymore and that it just takes too much willpower to force my legs to run a measly 10k.
Then I checked out Facebook to have a good ole moan on there and who knows perhaps later I'll check out a running forum or two and scan the threads on people who just aren't doing what they should and hopefully I'll feel somehow vindicated.

However, I didn't get any further than my FB homepage as a friend had posted a video that most certainly stopped my moaning and feeling sorry for myself in my tracks.
Check it out and BTW you will most certainly have a tear in the eye. I never cry but even I was astounded and welled up!
A story of love, courage, strength and of a father and child bond most people could only hope for.

The story of Dick Hoyt pushing his son Rick is a truly inspirational one. They have become a legend in their own lifetime. Here (http://www.teamhoyt.com/about/index.html) is their story
