Does anybody know if there are any Castlegreen reprints? Had my hands on a book of his poems but didn't have time to get it photocopied. Colin Campbell isn't quite the same somehow! :confused

Morning canadagirl,

Have you tried Stanley's in the precinct in Thurso?Over the years I've picked up many out-of-print local books there, and would certainly start there.DR Simpson in Wick have a local section, but I don't think they do second-hand books.
I'm in exile in Edinburgh, and from time to time see Castlegreen's books in second-hand bookshops. If you can't find anything locally, somewhere like Second Edition might be online,or I could take a look for you. Also Leakey's in Inverness has a huge stock, but if you're in the Thurso area have a word with the local specialist!

Try the charity shops. The cancer shop in Princes St., Thurso (beside Homeaid) often have Caithness books in their window.

Um Canadagirl lives in canada...Checking the precint might be a expensive trip ;)

Give amazon a go as it tends to sell just about everything.

Thanks guys, I did check a couple in Inverness on my way thru, as well as the one in the precinct in Thurso. Looks like amazon it is, never occurred to me to look there! Seems to be gold-plated tho....

When you come back to visit, Canadagirl (I believe I read a thread of yours where you said you would be back shortly), and when you are in Inverness again, there is a huge second hand book shop in a converted church on Church Street (close to wetherspoons, but on the opposite side of the road). It is a nice shop to visit if you love reading and also has a nice cafe and an impresive enclosed fire. They might have the book you are looking for.

Im sure if you hunt around you will find it somewhere. The price on amazon is way over the odds for it!

There was a copy of this book in Tall Tales at the start of this week.
