Went to this today, in the Pentland Hotel, Thurso and would recommend to anyone who has a child with additional needs, or anyone who has a child going through the motions prior to diagnosis of an ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder).
Anyway, thought I'd drop a post on here as there weren't many folks at it. The advert in paper a couple of weeks back suggested that prior booking was necessary (01463 711189), but I really don't think it'd be a big deal if one or two folks just turned up. :)
The ladies there were very helpful and CHIP+ seems to be a very good source of support and information.
They are running another roadshow tonight (Tuesday, 15th March) at the Pentland Hotel, Thurso 1700-1900hrs, and tomorrow morning (Wednesday, 16th March) at The Norseman, Wick 1030-1230hrs.
