wow, thats a great photo!
ive never seen the northern lights but im hoping to catch them/take photos when i come home at easter. i heard the peak months finish in march. (could be wrong, need to do my research) do you think theres still a good chance id see them mid april?

You can see the northern lights in April,they happen all year round,just cant see them on bright summer nights.

Our eyes cant pick up the reds/purples and the greens are more a grey/green.
Long exposures pick up the colours we struggle to see.
