Donald Murray

I have just discovered a death for Donald Murray at Bowermadden who died 13th April 1859 aged 73yrs it shows his father as James Murray and his mother as Janet Coghill. The confustion comes because it says (Single) and nephew George Murray was present. Could this be the same Donald who married Catherine Gollach? and if so, did they get divorced?and why wasn't one of the children the informant? Just wondering if anyone can help. Many thanks.

I don't think they were the same person. I certainly have them as separate people on my tree and think Catherine Gollach's Donald probably died before 1841 and Catherine is listed as a widow on the 1851 census.

Thanks Mamie, It was just that his parents were named the same as my Donald that's why I thought It may be the same one. Ah well, back to the drawing board.Thanks again.
