i do however think it lacks showing what the school brings to the area, and the kids enjoying it etc.
would've like to have seen more of that but good effort all the same.

I like the video and it will be great if the community rallies around and makes a concerted effort to keep Bower Primary School open. However it has to be said history has shown that as communities, transport arrangements and costs change, schools do close. The county is dotted with 'old school houses'. Bower is but a hop, skip and a jump from Castletown and so closure could well be possible if there's room there.
Whatever happens I wish the Bower community well.

Bower Primary School is Under Threat!

Three days ago, a 'Save Bower School' Campaign YouTube Video was uploaded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkhXF_5eTmI, and a Facebook Friend Campaign launched http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100002171131204
We now have nearly 250 friends in support, that's nearly 45% of the population of Bower! Whilst supporters have speant a total of almost 13 hours watching our video which was rated as 60th most talked about Video in the events section of Youtube on Thursday.

ALL our local schools are important to the communities they support, we all need to support each other!

Bower Primary School is Under Threat!

We first posted a version of this two days ago, but support is SO strong we felt it necessary to give an update!

ALL Local Councillors and our MP have been sent the releavent links to this campaign, so this is YOUR opportunity to have your voice heard! Remember, we all stand TOGETHER!

We now have over 270 friends in support, that's nearly 50% of the population of Bower! Whilst supporters have speant a total of almost 18 (Yes 18!) hours watching our video which was rated as 60th most talked about Video in the events section of Youtube on Thursday.
