Glad i went to the Public Meeting on Wednesday Night. It was a bit of an eye opener. Chance for the public to air their wishes for what the school should provide and which community amenities should be considered for integration to enable the Highland Council to develop the scope for the project. A budgetary estimate was provided along with a presentation of similar Education projects and past experience of those involved at this time. Also an opportunity to become a member of the Community Liasion Committee. Good to see approx 60 people took the trouble to attend the meeting to set the scene for a step change in educational development in Wick which is expected to last 60 years and is scheduled to be completed in 2014.
