The saddest week!

This week here in Newport has been horrific for us all!
my daughters friend Nikitta Grender and her unborn baby were killed (stabbed) and her flat set on fire to cover the crime up. I dare say that some of you have seen this on the news! The wave of disbelief has been unbearable to be honest that a young woman due to have her baby next week was taken so viciously!
They have at last charged the person responsible!
I don't know if i am allowed to ask this really but i'm going to anyway!
Next saturday at 3pm a balloon release is taking place.
The support for her family from all over has been overwhelming.
If you would like to release a balloon for Nikitta and Kelsey May please do.

So very sad,2 young lives taken away,one before they even got to spend an hour on this earth,but please dont release balloons,they can harm or even kill wildlife of all kinds,find another way to commerorate this sad day that is safe for everyone x

This really is a sad, sad thing to happen. My heart goes out to her family.

Can I also add that Thumper is right. Releasing balloons seems like a nice gesture, but it really does cause many wildlife deaths.

Lighting two candles would be better than balloons which do the environment and wildlife no good at all!
I am so glad they have got the person responsible, may they rot in Hell!!

Oh that is just awful and my heart goes out to your daughter and Nikitta's family and friends.

I would agree with Thumper,Shabbychic and Corrie3 though and ask please that balloons aren't released. They can cause much suffering and even death to wildlife,marine life, farm animals and domestic pets.
Chinese lanterns aren't much better.

Lighting a candle would be a nice alternative.
