TEENAGER REMANDED ON THREE CHARGES

A WICK teenager is facing charges including one of threatening to petrol bomb his ex-partner’s house.
James Taylor, of Coach Road, Wick, appeared from custody, at the town’s sheriff court, today and denied three charges.
The charges accuse him of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at the town’s Camps Bar, Wick, and shouting and swearing at his partner, Lorna McDonald. Taylor,19, also denies falsely telling police that he had been stabbed, at his home, and making a threat to assault, what was referred to in that charge, as his ex-partner, at Wick police station, and petrol bomb her house.
The offences are alleged to have occurred on Monday and Tuesday of this week.
Bail was refused and Taylor was remanded in custody pending his trial on March 17.
