i was wondering if anyone has a picture of the old wick caravan and camping site at the bottom of parish church hill that i could get a copy of please if not does anyone know where i could find one plz help?

I have a postcard taken from the fountain looking over the river towards the caravan/camping site.

I'm only guessing but it could be 60's into early 70's. then I think they moved to the old Haugh (other side of the tunnel that leads to Gowrie Place) but maybe someone knows better.

That picture is taken in the early 80s or very late 70s as the groins which replaced the weir are already installed. i think the new caravan site opened around 1981 so the old one would have been taken out of commission around the same time.

Thanks for that veritas, as I said I was only guessing.
Been gone from Wick for a lot of years now and the old memory isn't what it was.

That picture looks to be of the fairground folk, maybe around County Show time.
