hi there all,
while walking the dogs early this morning 11/01/11 at 0750 to 0800 i saw from the top of the of drive range in thurso looking toward halkirk a strange thing slowly crossing the horizon.it would have only been about half a mile from me in the air quite clear.it looked like a street lamp light on at night at 100 meters,quite big ,orange and slowly making its wayacross the horizon towards me.it lasted for about a minuit and a half before pulsing on and of for about 30 secs before going out compleatly.there was no nav lights no noise.i never seen anything like it.any ideas anyone?how i wish i had my mobile on me so i could have taken a film

I wonder if everyone in the world stopped setting off chinese lanterns and orange lights were still seen what the excuse would be ?
