I was bought an iPod touch for my birthday last year. It worked for about five months then I left it on the window ledge for a while and when I came to it it no longer worked. Not wanting to own up to breaking an expensive gift after my son told me I shouldn't have left it there it was too hot, I threw it in a drawer and left it. Last week my oldest son mentioned the Genius Bar in the Apple shop in Aberdeen so as he was going through this week I askedhim to take it in for me. When he got there they said that it was 12 days out of it's warranty. They then gave him a new one for me. Fantastic. He said he didn't have to argue or cajole them. They were helpful and pleasant. Well done Apple :)
