Power cut

Complete black out in castletown. Little dips of power over past few days but this is now 40 mins. Its trying 2 come on but fails. Does anyone know if its just here in castletown?

Have you called the Hydro Board yet? Sometimes they are unaware that there's a problem because everyone tends to assume that someone else has reported it! They are very helpful when they know about it.

Bit late for this power cut now but in future if you call Scottish Hydro on 0800 300 999 you will always get either a recorded message if they know about it already or you can speak to someone to report a cut they don't know about. Either way a Blarney says it's very helpful. I phoned them soon after the power went off and got a message apologising, saying it was Thurso area and should be on agan by 10 pm but actually it came on at 8.0. I guess they always overestimate so people aren't disappointed.
