Here are the opening times for TESCO Wick and Thurso seems that both stores close tonight at 6pm.

Was in Kirkwall yesterday. Tesco dead to the world, but some of the local shops selling local stuff open! Some of the local shops even open on Christmas day between 10 am and 2 pm for those emergency supplies that have been forgotten (batteries, sprouts, turkey.....)

Which one provides the best service to the local community?

I ventured to Frasers on Castlegreen Road in Thurso today. They had fresh bread and milk. Seemed to have their usual delivery for a Monday so more or less back to normal. Open until 5 or 5.30 I think today. TV mags out a day earlier this week also Take a break, so that`s me happy until Friday.

When the weather was really bad they delivered twice to me when I couldn`t get out due to illness. Definately worth a community award.
