I'm looking for my Scottish Connection.
My mother was a Forbes. Her father was William Forbes, born in Vermont USA. His father was Daniel Forbes, born before 1881 in Scotland and arrived on the North American continent at the age of 4. His father was Thomas Forbes, born 18 May 1825 in Scotland (either Caithness or Aberdeenshire). His mother was Anna MacKay born about 10 October 1828, most likely in Caithness.
Any help connecting to this line of my genealogy would be greatly appreciated.
