Bus service help!!

Hi has anyone ever missed there connection bus from inverness to wick due to a delay on the roads, and if so what happens.. as my mother has just left perth and was due to catch the wick bus at 6.45 and as far as i know its the last bus.... can,t get through to any bus companys and so fustrated... any help will be appreciated thanks...

As far as im aware (from experience) they should wait!

Me and hubby were coming from inverness one time and the Perth bus was late coming because of an accident on the road, think we sat on the bus waiting for about 45 minutes before they came.

Thanks shelley its a 2 and half hour delay due to a really bad accident in perth.. fingers crossed they have another bus on for her :) as they dont arrive in inverness till 9.30 :(

The last I heard was that the A9 was still closed at Dunkeld due to a Bad Accident involving 3 Lorries. The report said it could still take hours to clear and that was at 6pm. I do not know if it is still closed or not.
