Another weather station has been added to Caithness Weather (http://www.tugmistress.co.uk), it's situated in Lybster, so thank you very much to the owner of the station for asking it to upload to the website :D

Mmmmm!!
Not sure you need it Tugs, your site is accurate and your forecasts are great so why do you want this adding to it?

Btw, I dont trust the BBC either......I am not convinced that they know where Northern Scotland is!!!!!

C3 ...;)

lol the more live data we can see see, the more help it can be for someone travelling the county so they can see what it is doing in other areas :) it can be useful sometimes, and i know dounreay is open to the north, whereas i am slightly sheltered here :(

love the remark about the BBC, i must admit i agree wholeheartedly !

Not only the BBC as STV do not know where we are either.

If you watch STV HD on their weather map the whole of the top of Scotland is faded out, ie all above Inverness, and they have No information at all about our weather. Fat lot of good they are!!

This has been going on for years.
Info brochures of Scotland with nothing North of Inverness.
Travel brochures the same way.
Bus trips and Tours have little info on anything North of Nessie.....
Had friends who were doing a bus trip and they had to ask for North of Inverness. Had a great time, especially in the Portland and the Commercial in Lybster!
The site trip from Wick was advertised as a 'Trip to a quaint Scottish Fishing Village'. I think ther feelings were it was 'Unique'.

I e-mailed the Highland Council, Case, and the John O'Groat Journal. Never heard back from anyone...This was a number of years ago.

There's another weather station Lybster way:

Tuggs an I have tried to get it to talk to her website but I think my weather station is a temperamental begger so it's all on its lonesome.
