Can anyone recommend someone who would be able to look at an upright dyson hoover. There doesn't seem to be any suction although it turns on fine and sounds like it's working.

Thank you , Jenni

Did you contact Tom Reid ? If so, did you manage to get it repaired and how much did it cost as I have the same problem with my Dyson and it is a new model.

There is some help on the Dyson support site (http://www.dyson.co.uk/support/). If it doesn't help you fix the problem, it gives you a number to call to speak to someone direct.

Didn't have to call them, but I used their site to show me how to unblock mine yesterday. I lost all suction when the tubing became blocked by Christmas tree needles.

I think they also service (http://www.dyson.co.uk/support/help.asp?article=916) your machine for a fixed fee.

My friend uses their annual service for a fixed fee and is delighted as every time it comes back it is like new.
