Flooding

Road round the county are badly affected by a LOT of water. Thurso/Georgemas mentioned on BBC website - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-11966881

Also Halkirk to Calder road is awash in several places. Betwen Comlifoot Terrace and Gerston and further west there are rivers of water crossing the road.

Be careful.

Lots of flooding around Bower too, both on the main road and all the side roads.

Water is like a burn down the side of my house, but not in it....yet!!!!!

We are at the bottom of a couple of fields on a slope. Water is pouring down our road, our whole garden is flooded up to our doorstep and it's only just the beginning. We've had to make turf dams to try and lure the water into the ditches in the field which are soon to be overflowing aswell.

I believe aswell that there was an accident near the turn off for halkirk on the wick road. So watch yourselves and drive carefully!
