Road to Groats

Anybody know how the road is with snow/ice?

Gritter is running along the bus route from Thurso to Groats at the moment. I doubt the road will be easy to negotiate until some of the farmers get out and about with their tractors and 4X4s. I haven't seen the early morning buses yet.

You can see cars moving slowly along the scarfskerry-barrock stretch. I'm just heading into town as soon as this snow shower has given up!

Scrap that, not going anywhere now we've had heavy snow showers all morning, and skies still looking heavy :(

Drove out there this morning and it wasnt great! then drove back around 11ish,road still not too clever and a 4x4 in the ditch just before Corseback x
