Whats the road conditions like?
Im looking to go out to Mum and Dads in Barrock from Watten so Im wondering whether to go to Castletown then to Barrock or if I should go to Thurso then Barrock!

my husband went to work va castletown thurso was bad for driffts ,but that was back of 7. it has been snow again this morning

Hi Dadie,

It's snowing in Scarfskerry, and usually Barrock get more than us, so just getting up the hill into there could be tricky. More snow due.... I'd be temted to stay in and keep warm. :)

Im just back!
Ended up going to Thurso both ways.
Saw a young lassie with her car in the ditch Thurso side of the Halkirk turnoff.

I had to go to barrock to get the kids back from granny and grandas...so it was an essential trip:lol:
Think they couldnt wait to get rid of the kids as Euan was bothered by teeth last night.
