does anyone know if there is anybody locally that can transfer old cinefilm onto a dvd, thought it would make a great christmas present for my mum but can only find companys in the south, i hope someone can help, thanks

My brother Had an old cine film clip of when we were kids and he played it onto a screen with his with his digital video recorder on a tripod to record it.

The result was surprisingly good.

thanks for that but unfortunately i have no idea how to work it, i was only a kid when i remember my dad doing it, i can;t really remember what is even on the films so should be good if i can get it changed to dvd
