I came out the road from wick about 1pm at that point Wick - Watten was quite clear but Watten - Thurso was not good.
Its snowed continuously in Thurso for about the last hour and the town roads are beginning to get bad.

Just had the Sky engineers on the phone telling me they have to cancel my house visit in Wick as they have been told to get back to Thurso before they get stuck there due to the snow. Currently debating on whether or not to head home from Thurso myself.

Just back from Thurso, roads not at all bad just the numpties on them.

Had a child run out into the road in front of us on the way, then had a dipstick pull out in front of us on the way back, luckily my driving instructor (way back when) told me to assume everyone else on the road was a nutter and drive accordingly.

Excellent advice Changilass .....and that should include pedestrians too. Give them all a very wide berth, especially in this weather. It goes without saying that I am the singular exception to this rule ;)
