Hoping somebody is researching this family. We are trying to find out some more information about William Sutherland born about 1819 he married Alexanderina Rugg on 18 May 1853 in Caithness and had the following family:
Ann Sutherland 1854 married a McKenzie & William Jack
John Sutherland 1856 married Margaret Gunn
Donald Sutherland 1858
Jane Sutherland 1861
William Sutherland 1864 married Margaret McKay
Andrew Sutherland 1871
William Sutherland died on 31 May 1911 aged 92 at 54 Louisburgh Street Wick. William Sutherland death certificate was signed by his son-in-law William Jack. It would help greatly if someone was able to tell us who his parents were as it has no parents registered on his death certificate. We have been on IGI but there is to many William Sutherland's He may have been born in Latheron.
