hi

i think u just have to do " save as" and chose what type of file you want to save it as ,or there should be a PDF icon in the toolbar, click on it

Would be surprised if it were given away that easy.

With MS Word, you need an external helper to produce the PDF (like Adobe Acrobat (not viewer) which then becomes a "printer" that any annplication that can print can use.

There are some free PDF creation applications, but they usually watermark the PDF to say you are only using the free version. As far as I am aware, to get un "franked" PDF's you need a more sophisticated (i.e. bought) package.

Not sure on Open Office though. Never used it.

Hi there

I am using Open Office version 3.2.1, and the icon to Export Directly to PDF is on the Toolbar.

As Cecile has mention before you should have the features with Open Office to Export, which version of OO are you using

Good Luck
