Not true.

Not everyone is computer savvy from day one and it takes a while for most people see what is genuine and what is not, some of these scams seem more plausible than others.

I know it might be surprising that some unsuspecting person can fall for such a scam, but they do.

The first time that I had a phone call from the very helpful nice man from the windows team that explained I had a virus, it got me in a panic for a minute or two.

I think it's a good idea to share these experiences on this forum because it helps people that are new to tinterweb and answers some questions without having being poked fun at for asking.

i had some good ones a while back. first of all that bloke in Toga that wanted my help transfering funds, then his bank, and financial advisors asking for my assistances as soon as possible, and the best bit was the email from the FBI informing me that they had been investigating this man, and that it was all genuine and that i could give them all my details to forward on!!!!!
