apparently they are putting in the new gas pipe before they re-surface the road. in my humble opinion the road from the Parish church to the top of George St is in perfectly good nick. Surely it would make more sense to do some work on the road at the south end of the town at Liddle/hombase which is in a terrible state.:~(

Yes Lucy, I agree with you about the south end of the town (who could disagree?) it is a positive danger. How on earth the people who laid the supply lines, pipes etc., ever got away with leaving it in such a condition, I'll never understand.
