arthritis and swimming

Hi, I have just been told that i have Arthritis and the Dr recommended that i go swimming and do exercises in the pool can anyone tell me please which pool is best Wick or Thurso. I am also not sure what days are best to go on ? Do any of them have days when its ladies only. any help would be gratefull.

If you have arthritis you could join the disabled swimming club. It used to be free and there was transport provided, but i dont know if this is still so.

I think both pools would be suitable depending on which has the best hours for you and which is easier for you to get to.
The pools gets a lot of use from swim clubs, schools etc it would be a good idea to call them to find out when you can swim and what else is available such as the disabled swimming club, that Fran suggested, or even aqua-aerobics.
A Highlife card will get you into both for the same monthly charge.
