yeah there is a waiting list, not sure who to contact as a friend of mine put my daughters name on the list, as her girl goes to it.

As always, Google (http://www.caithness.org/community/uniformed/text/guides/guidesassociation_caithness.htm) is your friend..... ;)

Hmmn that info looks well out of date!
But on the same thought .. has anyone got the name and phone no to contact about rainbow brownies in Halkirk?
Its for littler girls and I think they can go from 5 years old...so might as well join the waiting list now!

I think what you mean are the Rainbows as to be a Brownie you must be 8 years old. The Rainbows are for the younger girls.
Rainbows

The Rainbows are the youngest age group of the Girl guides and range from five to seven years of age. The Rainbows promote learning, friendship building and play and are intended as a means of instilling confidence in small children so that they bond and play together on an equal without barriers or prejudice. They will take part in games and activities that all come under the banner of the ‘Rainbow Jigsaw’.

HALKIRK RAINBOWS
Halkirk Rainbows meet in the Ross Institute every Thursday night, during the school term, from 5.30 - 6.45 pm.
If you are interested in joining, please contact Mrs Isobel Powell on 01847 831565

I thought at first, this thread was how to make them.

All that work for nothing that took 0.21 seconds.

Asking on here gets to folks who are more likely to have up to date info, google doesn't always manage to do that, no matter how quick it is.

Google is only your friend if it has local knowledge updated.

Brownies have a set of new leaders in Wick. They are currently doing their training. I will try find out when they are starting up and a contact number for you, JWM.
