Hi, I am really interested in learning to play an instrument but as a lady of (ahem) mature years I'd like some advice regarding the best or most appropriate option to go for. Have been thinking about maybe woodwind or what about brass? What about drums? :lol:

I would try investing in a ukelele first, it may just change your life :) its very easy to pick and and will be guarenteed to be able to learn some chords to play a tune in the first half hour.

There are loads of tutorial videos on youtube as well. I think its impossible not to smile when playing it!
