The top two teams from last season faced off against each other when Bayview1 came through to Wick to play the Camps2.
An excellent display of pool from all members of the Bayview1 team seen them comfortably beat last seasons treble winners 8-3.
The Crown1 team who seem to be getting stronger every year defeated the Blackstairs1 7-4. The Francis Street Club and the Commercial both recorded 6-5 victories over Sinclair Bay and Camps1 respectively.
In The 2nd Division Queens2 players Keith Bremner and Jim Bain played some great pool with Bain potting the black in all 3 of his games, helping them to a 9-2 victory over Sasa's Cellar Bar.
The Seaforth Club won convincingly yet again, beating Mountain Dew1 9-2 putting them top of the league.
Next week see's the Rockwater Shield get underway, with the tie of the round being Blackstairs1 against the holders Camps2.
