Would anyone have any information about local - ish Westie breeders. I'm in Wick. Never seem to see any information for Westies but I see lots and lots of them around so must be from somewhere.

Thanks for any help.

According to the Kennel Club, there's no registered litters in Scotland at the moment. :(

But if you keep an eye on this page... http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/services/public/psar/display.aspx?breed=3082&area=1 you will see updates.

In the orcadian newspaper there is a westie pup for sale. Not sure if you are looking for one or one to breed. Number is 01856 741309 if that is any help x

I'm guessing most of the breeders aren't registered then, if there's a lot! Personally, I'd only buy a dog from a registered breeder.

If you do go for a dog, make sure you see the mother and ensure health testing has been done. Westie's can be very unhealthy little dogs, unfortunately.

There are a few advertised in last weeks press and journal, I agree with Sarah though check the health very carefully.
