Here's a piccie of Wallace. All settled in and doing what he does best and most - sleeping. lol.

I know a few people are interested in how Wallace is doing especially his previous owner who did a great job with him over the past 3 years and Liz who helped rescue him initially.

Well here he is, all settled and not going anywhere ever again. He now has his forever home.

He has had a bit of a tough life!
But he looks well comfy on the cushion.
Is he lying dark side down on the cream cushion?

I am so so happy to see and hear that he has settled in so quickly, it just goes to show what memories animals have.
I miss him so much and will never forget him, he made such a huge impact on my life. If I wasn't moving into a town I would have kept him without a doubt but this amazing cat needs to be in the country and enjoying freedom and doing what he does best which is wiping out the rabbit population of any area that he is in and bringing them in as presents to you.
You just wait until spring you will be in-undated with left over rabbit ears on your carpets :)
Thank you so much for the update though and for giving him such a fantastic home, he certainly is a special little boy and it would be difficult to ever find another that would match up.

Ber219: You're welcome. It's amazing the impact Wallace has on people. We've had many cats over the years but Wallace was always spoken of for the past 3 years and missed terribly, yet we only had him for a short while.

He really is settling in great. He's in and out all the time now and we have to be careful that he doesn't follow us into the village if we walk it. My daughters have had to bring him back a few times. lol.

I found his collar outside the other day. It had come off still done up so I don't know how he managed that. I've left it off now though as we have alot of farmers fencing etc here and I'd hate for him to get caught up on it.

He still talks. lol. I swear that's what he's doing. If you answer him when he meows then his tone changes constantly as though he's chatting back and
Yup, he's still very vocal. lol.

Aw Ber219 you gave Wallace such a great home just when he needed it the most! I am sure he will always remember you and the wonderful love you shared.
He's probably telling Porshiepoo all about you!

Yes Wallace is a really special cat and should get an award for all he's been through.
I rescued a fair few cats when I was with CP but Wallace made a real impact on me and when he went missing, feared dead, it was really horrible.
It was unbelievable when he turned up again, although in very bad shape.:(

Still his future now is rosy thanks to you, and your family, Porshiepoo. Of course he's speaking to you. I used to have wonderful conversations with one of my cats, Tiggy, who was a real blether.lol
