Removing mould from something

I have taken a removable chair cover from a baby item and popped it into the washing machine to freshen it up. I didn`t notice at the time, but once I took it out of the machine it had wee black mould spots. I have tried washing it again at several different temps with several different detergents (vanish, stain sticks etc) and nothing seems to have worked. Hoping someone on the org may have an idea for me to try other than putting it in the bin.

A couple of tablespoons of Bicarbonate of Soda in warm water in a small basin. Shoogle it in that to agitate it, then soak it overnight. Mould stain should be gone.
You could also try Milton Steriliser.

Was going to suggest sterilising fluid..but have just bleached some bibs whiter than they should be with it...they were blue!
So be careful with the quantity you use.
