View Full Version : The Seven Gates
A BIG congratulations to the children of Wick who designed the gates at the salt cellars. Also to Liz O'Donnell, Jane Sue Taylor and Shelagh Swanson who helped them and to Ian Sinclair, Ackergill who made their ideas come to fruition.
They look really great and will serve as a lasting contribution to the renaissance of Pulteneytown.
Well done all!

indeed, they also look excellent at night
Wow the 7 gates are impressive, must come down a look some night and see them! Always wondered what these gaping black holes were for, looked kind of unsightly as you came round the harbour.........really looking forward to seeing them. :Razz Well done to all concerned..........brilliant job!http://forum.caithness.org/images/icons/icon14.gif
The gates are really nice, and well worth a look at night when they are lit from behind with blue and green lights. So hope no neds vandalise them!

Only a matter of Time
Why put the "thought" there? Do you have to be so negative? If it should happen then I hear you say "I was right"! [evil]
indeed.. had a look at them on the front page.. they are very smart.. shall stop and have a look when I'm up next.
My son was involved in the designing and opening of the gates and to say i am proud is an under statment
