I'm afraid that I was stacking the dishwasher because the unusual moment slipped my mind.

Never mind - it's a good excuse and at this end of the day you can't do what I will do tonight and have some good wine.

My wife was jumping round at step aerobics.

So what were you doing?

I remember exactly where I was on 08/08/1988 at 08:00 am. I was outside of a church in Groesbeek, Holland wondering why the church was having a wedding on a week day and why so early. I sometimes wonder if the superstition paid off.

Somebody gave us a bottle of Chablis - months ago. We needed an excuse- 10/10.10 is good enough. We'll save a wee drop for 10,10,10,10,10.

In the meantime a toast to all of you.

Here's to life - and the pleasure of living it.

Slainte! ;)

Might be worth saying that in binary the total of this number is..... 42. The answer to life, the universe, and everything.

In the morning I was just sitting watching cbeebies sigh. I did remember and at precisely 10.10 I went and chapped the doors of my sleeping teenagers to tell them it was 10.10 on 10.10.10 with a loud TADAAAAA. Funny, they weren't much interested, just grunted and complained about the noise then carried on snoring.
