Another tremendous effort & turnout last night - well done to all who took part!! Once again, in the good old Wick tradition - the slogans "pulled no punches". It never ceases to amaze me the time & trouble the participants take to make Gala night such a great occasion - makes me very proud to be a Weeker.

Kept logging on today to see if Bill Fernie had posted any photos or list of prizewinners but nothing yet. Hope Bill is not suffering from overindulgence in the celebrations last night or from his "dook" in the North Baths yesterday - BRRR!! what a brave thing to do.

With all the community spirit evidenced by the procession of floats & the Friends of Trinkie & North Baths, not forgetting the local contractors who have contributed time, materials & transport/machinery towards these events, it is very clear that Wick may be down - but it is certainly not out - yet. You can all stand up and take a very well deserved bow.
