Confirmation of ID

Am i right in thinking this is a 1st Winter Snow Bunting ? (Duncansby Head area.)

First time i've seen this species.

Hi Seabird

Snow Bunting is correct. The extent of the white on the wing indicates a male but from the photograph it is difficult to age as there is so much variation form one bird to another.

Many Thanks Guys. It was quite early and raining, i was at ISO 800 and had a very slow speed so i consider myself lucky to have got that picture at all. 2 snaps and it was gone the other pic was blured
Location was Sannick Beach car park area.
