Continental Market In Thurso Next Week

This year in addition to adding new events and a Big Gig Bands day to the gala Thurso Town Improvements have invited The Continental Market to town next week.

The dates for the market are Thursday 27th July to Sunday 30th July in Thurso Pedestrian Precinct.

Thurso Gala runs the following week from 5th - 13th August

Also opening an shop from the 31st July thru to August 14th. its the old Victoria Wines or for longer memories Hamish Camerons at the Traffic lights
11am-3pm daily (11am - til late on Saturday 5th August)

Any one interested in doing a float collect your buckets or cans from the shop

Great to hear that the continental market is coming to Thurso. Well worth a visit. It is good when it goes to Wick but maybe we could make this a continual thing around the gala time. Hope they plan to visit Thurso more often!!! Well done to whoever got them up here!!

ITS ALL STARTING TOMORROW (THURSDAY) MORNING 8:30pm -5:30pm - - - THRU TO SUNDAY As advertised in Local Press and Moray Firth Radio

Ive learned that this is their last market for a few weeks as they are having a holiday break so who knows there might be some special offers on sale to clear stock before the break. Lets Hope So - Apparently the full market including some that have never been in Wick are coming

While Im on here can i also thank all the local shop keepers and their staff who i went round and visited on Monday morning in the Town Precinct and at the Town Hall Car Park End who have been so helpful and welcoming towards The Continental Market - - -We really hope you all benefit from the extra activity in the town

Thurso Town Improvements idea in bringing this is three fold

1) To bring something to Thurso that although some have been to in Wick others cannot get to - -well its on your doorstep now so please go and have a look and see if there is anything you fancy

2) To hopefully attract new people and people back who have not been in the town shopping precinct for a while so that our own local shops benefit

3) To fulfil Thurso Town Improvements attempts to improve the town in anyway we can using innovative ideas and also not be afraid to borrow other idea - - -
For that thanks to Mike & Carol in Wick Project Centre who have helped us considerably get this here at such short notice
