Tent Help!

Does anyone know if there is anyone in the Wick / Thurso area, that re-strings the poles for tents?(fibreglass ones that have elastic inside them).

If you have the patience I did my own. It was a while ago so can't remember exactly how but think I dipped the end of the elastic in wax from a candle to make it easier to push through. The elastic on mine was OK, it was some of the poles that had split but you could probably buy elastic if you need it.

The poles are all okay, its the elastic that has snaped,

Have you asked at the shop in Thurso - they're usually pretty helpful? The one up past Woolworths.
